Matthew R. Wilson received his doctor of jurisprudence degree from the University of Oregon Law School in a ceremony last month. During summers as a law student, Wilson served as a legal intern in the U.S. Department of Education, Office of Civil Rights, in Washington, D.C.

Sealaska Corp. announced today that Jaeleen Kookesh Araujo has been appointed as the Sealaska general counsel and vice president. Her primary responsibility will be directing all legal activities for the corporation, including development of legislation and regulations that advance Native issues and protecting shareholders' interests.
