Course backers aren't fast-buck artists

It saddens me to read about the efforts by some to squash the many years of careful planning by the Juneau Golf Club to construct an 18-hole golf course on North Douglas. These are efforts to halt reasonable development, in partnership with Totem Creek, of an environmentally sensitive industry and to cause unethical and financially draining delays. They also question the integrity of the people involved.
