Juneau fisherman Norval Nelson, owner and skipper of the Star of the Sea, de-ices his crab pots and deck Tuesday aboard his fishing boat. Nelson was at the Taku Smokeries dock to pick up crab bait in preparation for the tanner and brown king crab opening, slated for Feb. 12.
