One last summer road trip for Troop 6

Nine Boy Scouts and three adult advisers from Boy Scout Troop 6 in Juneau recently returned from the Philmont Scout Ranch where they completed a 12-day backpacking trek through the scenic and rugged backcountry of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains of northern New Mexico. The group included scouts Eli Douglas, Shafer Suzuki, Sam Dobson, Max Suzuki, Michael Alon, Riley Sikes, Christopher Ray, Valery Taylor and Raymie Matiashowski. All the scouts are between ages 14-17. Along for the trip were scoutmaster Matt Dobson and advisors Steve Sikes and Dave Douglas.
