Numbers don't pencil out for new school

...population show a projected increase to 6,111 (still less than the current population in that age group). Why would we even consider building a new school when the projections show a decrease in our school-age population? Sara H. Willson
Disappointment in Juneau

...approve the renovations at Juneau-Douglas High School. They did not postpone, table or agree to reconsider. They decided and are now able to spend their time on other issues affecting Juneau. Way to go, Assembly! Sara H. Willson Juneau
No bonds for new school Web site. We want good education for our children. We need to realize that we can achieve this under the funding approved by the voters in 1999. The additional bonds are not needed to achieve this objective. Sara H. Willson Auke Bay
