I think I should have gone to the Republican Governor's Conference. There must have been some seminar where they all learned the latest in governing: extend corporate giveaways and then cry budget deficits that can be solved only by reducing government services and busting public employee unions. The governors of Wisconsin, Ohio, and Maine were especially good students.
