The Revisionaries

Now Playing Synopsis: Scott Thurman's documentary captures the political debate that transpired as the Texas school board changed the standards that were required of a teacher of K-12 students in their state. Many found the changes to be anti-scientific, leading to charges that there was a faction attempting to get creationism taught in the public schools. Since Texas and California are the two states that order the most textbooks in the country, any change to the curriculum in those places leads to changes in textbooks everywhere else in the United States. ~ Perry Seibert, Rovi Cast: David Anderson, Connie Barlow, Jessica Beckham, Kimberly Bilica, Heidi Boles, Chris Comer, Bob Craig, Michael Dowd, Cynthia Dunbar, Raymond Eve, Laura Ewing, Kevin Fisher, Barbara Forrest, Julie Fry, Steve Fuller, Michael Hudson, Lee Hughes, Stephanie Klenzendorf, Norman Lear, Gail Lowe, Arturo DeLozanne, Don McLeroy, Kathy Miller, Ken Miller, Matthew Ogilvie, Thomas Ratliff, Jonathan Saenz, Steve Schafersman, Gary Scharrer, Eugenie Scott, Gerald Skoog, Srinivasan Srivilliputher, Bill Talkington, Ruthanne Thompson, Ide Trotter, Amanda Walker, Ron Wetherington Movie Details Buy Tickets Movie Review

Crooked Arrows

Now Playing Synopsis: A multiracial Native American connects with his proud heritage by coaching his reservation's scrappy lacrosse team to the state finals in this inspirational sports drama starring Brandon Routh. Joe Logan (Routh) wants to give his reservation a modern makeover. But the locals don't trust him, and they're happy with the way things have always been. Meanwhile Joe's father, the Tribal Chairman, senses that his son has lost his way. In order to get him back on the right path, Joe's father puts him in charge of the reservation's high school lacrosse team on the eve of a big match against their most fierce rivals. When Joe proves a better coach than anyone could have anticipated, his team soon realizes that they may have a chance of beating their most fierce rivals - an athletically-gifted prep school team - in the annual championship game. In the process, cynical Joe learns that some traditions are worth holding onto. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi Cast: Brandon Routh, Chelsea Ricketts, Tyler Hill, Cree Cathers, Michael Hudson, Jack Vandervelde, Aaron Printup, Orris Edwards Movie Details Play Trailer Buy Tickets Movie Review
