The Juneau-Douglas High School Interact Club will sponsoring their annual Homeless Awareness Sleep Out Project on Nov. 5. Interact members will sleep outside from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. to raise awareness for the 194 homeless students identified in Juneau in 2010. The purpose of the event is to raise money and benefit the homeless students in the Juneau School District as well as The Glory Hole family food boxes.
