The Juneau-Douglas Crimson Bears boys and the Thunder Mountain Falcons girls will open state high school soccer tournament play today at Eagle River High School.

The soccer season has finished for two of the four local high school teams after weekend action.

The Juneau Soccer Club recently returned from the Yukon after battling sister city Whitehorse in the "re-launch" of the Whitehorse Exchange. This was the first of two soccer tourneys. Juneau will host Whitehorse in June to complete the exchange.
