ANCHORAGE -- Alaska Seafood International could be producing packaged fish products by early July, according to the company's new chief executive.
The start-up fish factory has been dormant since last August, when it laid off its 40 production workers because of financial troubles. The state invested millions of dollars in the Anchorage processing plant hoping to create jobs and support Alaska's commercial fishing industry.
