State Parks to host National Trails Day event at Denali State Park

ANCHORAGE - Trail enthusiasts are invited to meet at the group camp site next to Byers Lake in Denali State Park for a day of fun and volunteer work with staff from the Alaska Division of Parks and Outdoor Recreation from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday. In celebration of National Trails Day, the parks division is hosting a full day of events that will include trail brushing projects , hiking and educational opportunities at the scenic lake.
