...seems to be putting the cart before the horse, but then I am sure there are people who will disagree with that point. I am not against building a second bridge, in fact I am all for it, but let's do it at the right time. Dick L. Dau Juneau

No need for more fire starters

...need to place this piece of trash in my paper box, as I have all the fire-starter I need. The young man has a great future ahead of him in the adult magazine area but not polluting the minds of the young people in Juneau. Dick L. Dau Juneau

Palin's fall session a wake-up call for city

...have this in mind. But what do I know about how my fellow Alaskans feel? I have only lived here for 47 years. I'm sure that out-of-state people must know more, as their letters are published on an almost daily basis. Dick L. Dau Juneau

A road, not a bridge, is a key to a strong economy in Juneau

...political candidates. I could say that I don't care, as I am retired and own my own home, but my wife and I were once young and just married here in Juneau, and so we realize the struggle to purchase that starter house. Dick L. Dau Juneau

Vote for a new city administration this fall

Build the road, keep the capital

Sickened by Sarah-bashing

...When another bill is introduced to move the capital, I would like Palin and the rest of our fellow Alaskans to the North on our side. This likely will not happen if we continue to remain out of step with the rest of the state. Dick L. Dau Juneau
