"Never Alone (Kisima Ingitchuna)" wins British Academy Award for Best Debut Game

"Never Alone (Kisima Ingitchuna)," a video game based on Inupiaq stories narrated in the Inupiaq language, has been honored with a prestigious British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) award in London for Best Debut Game. Juneau-based Tlingit and Inupiaq storyteller Ishmael Angaluuk Hope, who worked as a lead writer for the project, accepted the award during the ceremony in London Thursday along with "Never Alone" Art Director Dima Veryovka.
